Lazio and Napoli join race to sign Agyemang-Badu

Italian Serie A sides Lazio and Napoli have joined the flock of clubs lined-up to sign Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu from Udinese, according to reports in the Ghana press.

The 23-year-old is likely to exit the Stadio Communale Friuli after the 2014 World Cup and a number of clubs – including Lazio and Napoli have joined the race to sign him.

But the Serie A duo faces tough competition from English sides West Bromwich Albion, Liverpool and Newcastle United who are all reportedly interested in the workaholic midfielder.

Napoli and Lazio scouts have watched the enforcer who has scored thrice in 24 outings for Les Zebrettes this term and would make a move for him in the summer transfer window.

The former Berekum Arsenal midfielder has put all transfer talks about his future on holder until after the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
