League action returns on October 30, i.e. next week Wednesday, after a month's break with interesting pairings at the various centres.
According to the PLB, the 27th week games, earlier scheduled for the coming weekend, have had to be postponed to cater for the anticipated late arrival of Kotoko into the country.
The last batch of the Kotoko contingent that embarked on the trip to Congo for their Cup Winners Cup second leg tie against A. S. Police is expected to arrive in the country by Friday.
Although the matches could go ahead as the laws will not be in Kotoko's side for postponement should they arrive by Friday, the PLB said it is guarding against the possibility of a further delay of the team's arrival, hence the decision to provide ample time.
The board also said it is guarding against any particular outstanding games at this stage of the competition, since such situations have the potential of marring the league with fixed matches.
The reviewed programme, reached between the PLB and the premier clubs at an emergency meeting yesterday, will have the 28th week games honoured between November 2 and 3.
The 29th week games will be played between November 6 and 7 with the last round of matches in the league scheduled to be honoured between November 9 and 10.
