M.P, Muntari's Father Gives to Okwawu United

In response to the call for financial support by the acting-Chairman, Francis Anom, and the management team of former Premiership side Okwawu United, the Member of Parliament for Nkawkaw constituency, Hon. Oketchere Adusah, has last week, presented a check of 10 Million Cedis to the Asaase-Aban club.

The M.P, who is currently serving his third term in the Ghanaian house of commons on the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party, tasked both management and the playing body of the team to return to the elite division next season since a club of Okwawu United caliber does not warrant to be in the lower division.

Hon. Adusah, who also happens to be the deputy majority chief whip in parliament, advised the playing body to do away with complacency now that they have qualified for the Middle League and give of their maximum best since by doing so combine with good performance, the club will end up receiving more financial support from all Kwawu faithfuls.

Joining the M.P to also show his kind gesture to the club was the father of Black Stars and Italy’s Udinese star Sulley Muntari, Alhaji Muniru Sulley, who donated a massaging machine and a couple of footballs to the club.

On his part, the acting Chairman, thanked Hon. Adusan and Alhaji Muniru Sulley together with Mr. Danquah of Metalics Ltd. for their kind gesture and promised that the Asaase-Aban lads will definitely return to the Premier League next season.
