MPs commend Green Grass Technology (GGT)

Accra, March 7, GNA - Parliamentary Select Committee for Youth, Sports and Culture members, have commended sports field experts, Green Grass Technology (GGT), for renovating the training pitch at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence, Prampram in the Eastern Region. Mr Stephen Ackah, Chairman of the Committee, commended the contractors for good work done on the pitch, saying the quality met required international standards.

He made these remarks when the Committee members inspected facilities at the Center.

Mr Ackah said, the nature of the pitch was ideal for producing quality football and grooming talents for the nation and urged the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to ensure efficient management. Mr Ackah also applauded the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for putting to good use, funds allocated to them by the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA).

He expressed the hope that the facility would be given the needed maintenance for future generations to benefit. GGT, a leading sports field expert in Ghana is earmarked for an international assignment in Equatorial Guinea. GGT is among few companies under consideration for pitch construction by the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for Equatorial Guinea 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
