Accra Hearts of Oak coach David Duncan has labeled his talisman Mahatma Otoo as “unmatched” in the Ghana league, and said it will be pure robbery if he does not win the Player of the Season accolade.
The 22-year-old emerged as the top-scorer for this season’s Ghana Premier League with 20 goals after scoring a hat-trick on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium against Tema Youth on the final day of the term.
Duncan believes that Otoo is way above other players in the league after a stellar performance that helped the Phobians to finish fifth-place.
“My best player in the Hearts team is undoubtedly Mahatma Otoo and as far as the national league is concerned he is unmatched and it will be described as robbery if he does not win the player of the season award,” the ex-Ashgold coach told GBC Sports.
