Medeama SC has called on stakeholders to come to their aid as they seek to participate in the 2016 CAF Confederation Cup.
The Mauve and Yellows are financially handicapped and their ability to participate in the competition hang by a thread.
The club earlier on Tuesday released a statement stating that they may withdraw from the CAF inter-club football competition due to financial constraints, and the president of the club, Moses Armah Parker has called for financial support.
“We find ourselves in financial difficulties due to the cost involved,” Mr. Parker began in an interview with Happy FM.
“We are supposed travel to Congo on Thursday, but as I speak we haven’t been able to raise money to purchase tickets for the trip,” he lamented.
“I am calling on all stakeholders to come to our aid,” he appealed.
