Medeama names squad for Africa

Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC have named their squad for the 2016 CAF Confederation Cup competition.

The Mauves will be representing Ghana in next year’s Inter-Club competition after winning the MTN FA Cup.

The squad includes new signings Patrick Opoku and Paul Aidoo.

Listed below are the names of the 27 players Medeama sent to CAF:

Goalkeepers: Yaw Ansah Fufuro, Michael Sai and Muntari Tagoe.

Defenders: Daniel Amoah, Moses Amponsah Sarpong, Samuel Adade, Ishmael Hammond, Francis Nuer Addo, Patrick Opoku and Paul Addo.

Midfielders: Samuel Bio, Dominic Eshun, Malik Akowah, Victor Ayireh, Eric Kwakwa, Joseph Gordon, Kwame Boahene, Michael Asamoah, Kwesi Donsu, Emmanuel Agyemang and Jorday Kofi Aidoo and Conney Idan.

Strikers: Benjamin Bature, Enoch Atta Agyei, Abass Mohammed, Philip Aseweh and Bismark Oppong.

The Ghana Premier League side will be facing the winner between Ettihad Tripoli from Libya and Sonidep from Niger.
