Sulley Muntari will become the fourth Ghanaian to play in the Champions League finals.
If selected, the midfielder will become the fourth Ghanaian to play in the Champions League final after the Italian club edged past holders Barcelona on aggregate in the semi-final after a 1-0 defeat on Wednesday night.
Muntari, who came on as a second half substitute, is set to rub shoulders with legend Abedi Pele, Sammy Kuffuor and Micheal Essien as the only Ghanaians to have played in the final of the competition.
Abedi won it in 1991 with Marseille while defender Kuffuor made it with Bayern Munich ten years later.
