Former Dutch international George Boateng has called on Ghanaians to forgive Sulley Muntari and accept him after he apologized for his actions in Brazil.
The Saudi based midfielder has shown remorse after playing a key role disrupting peace in camp during Ghana’s chaotic world cup campaign in Brazil.
Boateng wants the issue settled and an end brought in to the matter.
“The fact that Sulley has apologized and putting it in writing takes a lot of courage”.
“I am pleased with that because he is a fantastic player. Someone who can win matches and decide games so if he has apologized, I think we as a nation should accept it and move forward”.
“It’s only the coach who can decide whether to select him or not but we should give him another chance to play for the country,” Boateng told Starr FM Sports.
