The National Sports Authority (NSA) Security Coordinator Michael Smart Abbey has told Starr Sports security of the stadium on Monday will be highly dependent on officiating decisions of referees.

The game is expected to attract over 38,000 spectators and ahead of the clash there are arrangements to tighten security at the Accra Stadium to ensure the safety of the fans.

The Ghana FA is yet to appoint match officials for the crucial match-day 10 encounter, but the security expert is warning the men in black.

“The referees association should help in orienting their members. They need to understand that security starts from officiating and so that they go there to do their work they should do their work, they do it diligently with decorum.

"With the belief that I am doing this work to save the lives of people”, he told Starr Sports.

The much anticipated game kicks off at 3: 30pm (GMT).
