TP Mazembe midfielder Daniel Nii Adjei is optimistic of a victory over Medeama SC in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Medeama begins their group campaign with the former Champions in Lumbunbashi on Sunday.

The Mauves will be hoping to course an upset in the Central African country in other to boost their confidence in subsequent matches in the group.

Nii Adjei who is expected to feature against Medeama on Sunday has fired a warning to the Ghanaian Club.

“They can say they will the trophy, every team can win the tournament but coming to beat us in Lubumbashi will not happen,” The former Asante Kotoko midfielder he spoke to Accra FM.

“We know them and we have watched them so we will do everything possible to defeat them here in Lubumbashi.”

The Ghanaian Club are expected to leave the country on Thursday night.
