No Fulham offer for Frimpong

Fulham are yet to put in an offer to permanently sign Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong from Arsenal despite expressing interest in signing him.

The 21-year-old, who is on loan at the Cottagers from rivals Arsenal, has been impressive in the few matches he has played for Fulham.

No clause is written into Frimpong’s deal with the club that could see him make a definite move across London in the summer.

But the midfielder is so far out on the fringes at Arsenal that Fulham coach Martin Jol is quietly confident a suitable Fulham offer would be accepted.

Jol is now considering the possibility of getting Frimpong on a permanent contract but he is yet to put in an offer to Arsenal.

“There have been no talks yet because the season isn’t finished,” Fulham coach Martin Jol said.

“Hopefully he will stay fit and I’m certain he will play a part for us and afterwards we can make an assessment,” he added.

Frimpong has been impressive in the few matches he has played for Fulham but has been outclassed by Enoh.

The Cameroonian has extra six years of experience over Frimpong.
