Kotoko goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi has confirmed he’s held talks with Aduana Stars over a potential move.

The 22-year-old is seeking a move away from Kumasi following the signing of experienced ex-Berekum Chelsea shot-stopper Ernest Sowah.

The former Ghana youth international fears losing his position in the team and has started the process of leaving the club for secured regular playing time.

”Yes, it is true that i have talked with Aduana Stars, but i have contract with Kotoko, so i have directed them to inform Kotoko, then after that I will also give my consent if the Kotoko management tells me,” he told Sunyani-based Ark fm. ”

‘Yeah, that is correct. In modern football you need more playing time. The coach showed interest in him (Ernest Sowah) and they have signed him.”

“This decision could reduce my playing time, but as i said earlier i have a contract with Kotoko.”

Ofori joined the Porcupine Warriors from Amidaus Professionals and has so far impressed.

But it appears he wants to seek a new challenge elsewhere with Aduana Stars believed to the front runners for his signature.
