Okwawu Hold Power

Okwawu United played a determined game to hold Power F/C to a goalless drawn game in their GT Premier League match at the Tema Sports Stadium on Thursday.

Okwawu who matched their opponents boot for boot for a greater part of the game, were unlucky to have missed the net when Yaw Inkoom's beautiful header in the 67th minutes missed the target narrowly. Power, sensing danger quickly repulsed the attack and nearly went ahead two minutes later but captain of the side, Nana Yaw with only goalkeeper Emmanuel Doe to beat fumbled in the 69th minute.

Okwawu mounted further pressure on their opponents after bringing on Charles Benson and Farouk Adamu and nearly had the last laugh but Farouk who was in a better position to score, shot off target to the relief of the home side to end the day's proceedings.
