A former national star Opoku Nti has bemourned the low standard of Ghana football. Speaking in an exclusive with AUTHENTIC KAPITAL SPORTS at the Accra Sports Stadium after the Hearts-Kotoko epic Ghana Telecom Premier League match,he said the low attendace at the match leaves much to be desired.
Opoku Nti recounted that in their days every Kotoko-Hearts game attracted a very high attendace with so much interest and tension going with it, but today's game is very devoid of all the usual exitmentment that should go with the game.
He called on all stakeholders to brainstorm to find pragmatic solutions to the problems confronting Ghana Football. Asked what he has been doing since he quit Ghana football,he said.
"I coach the only All African Soccer team in Europe based in Switzerland"
