Osei agrees terms with Kotoko

Emmanuel Osei Carlos has agreed personal terms and will sign a three-year contract to with Asante Kotoko, Sportscrusader.com can confirm.

The AshGold forward met with the hierarchy of the Porcupine Warriors on Thursday, and he agreed to join the Kumasi-based club for the next three years.

According to Sportscrusader.com sources, Osei will earn about GHs 40,000 as his signing on fee, a figure Nathaniel Asamoah is reluctant to accept.

Asante Kotoko wrote to Ashanti Gold about two weeks ago requesting for the services of the striker, but the Miners were initially reluctant to let go of the former Asokwa Deportivo’s forward.

However, the player revealed his readiness to move on due to lack of game time on the pitch. The defending league champions are also unready to renew his contract, and replied Kotoko’s letter confirming their readiness for negotiations.

Kotoko will today hold a meeting with officials of Ashanti Gold officials of AshGold to agree a transfer fee before he puts pen to papers.
