The Premier League Board has extended the closing date for the registration of players for the 2011/12 Premier League season.

Registration of players for the new season now ends on Friday, 16th September, 2011.

According to the PLB, the action to amend the programme has been necessitated by the late arrival of the registration CDs from abroad.

The registration programme is as follow:

Publication: 19th - 23rd September, 2011

Verification: 26th - 30th September, 2011

Kickoff: Sunday, 9th October, 2011
