"Play out Gyan"- Siasia

Accra, Nov 15, GNA - Nigeria "Dream Team's" coach, Sampson Siasia say he aspires to play out Asamoah Gyan when they meet Ghana's Black Meteors in a crucial Olympic Games Qualifier in Accra on Friday, November 16.

Siasia said he considers Gyan as a big threat to their dream of picking the group's sole slot for next year's Games in Beijing.

He told GNA Sports in Accra on Thursday that "Ghana's attack is a big threat. Gyan is playing very well for his Club and I've seen him a few times with the Meteors and his pedigree is high."

Gyan has scored four times and is the leading scorer in the qualifier that includes South Africa.

The former Nigerian international is however hopeful of relying on the discipline of his players to get a good result out of the encounter which Ghana needs to win to seal qualification.

"Our strength is discipline. The boys are very disciplined and with a little bit of luck, I do not see why we cannot win tomorrows encounter."

Siasia reckons the duel will be cagey and tips the side that makes good use of its chances to grab the three points will come tops.

"It will be a wonderful and beautiful game but the one who takes chances will end up as the victor." Ghana leads the three-team table with six points and will require all three points in the game slated for the Ohene Djan Stadium, Accra to answer the roll call at the Chinese capital next summer.

Nigeria won the first encounter 3-2 when they hosted the Meteors in Abuja last June.
