Accra, Aug. 9, GNA - The Player Status Committee of the Ghana Football Association has requested 27 players as well as club officials to appear before it on their declaration of status on Thursday, August 11, 2005 at 1pm.
The players are made up of Abukari Mohammed Aquaye and Baba Issah of Real Tamale United (RTU), Musa Mohammed and Ebenezer Asare of Heart of Lions, Felix Yeboah of Hasaacas and Gilbert Ansah of Feyenoord, all Premier league sides.
The rest are Ayitey Botchway and J.B. Danquah of Accra Great Olympics, Samuel Addo of Topsymore, Solomon Crentsil of Adansiman FC, Tony Mensah of De-Bores FC, Frank Adjei Mensah of Morning Stars FC and Ibrahim Adams of Aston Villa FC/B.A. United/Burnly Wise. The others are Benjamin Teiko of FC Midtjilland, Dennis Paha of Great Farisco Stars FC, Abdul Wahid Hussein - Madina United, Peter Amoah - King Hussein FC, Samuel Twerefour - Unity FC/ Okwawu Mountains, and Eric Ansah - Zaytuna FC.
The rest include Richard Amankwa - B.A. United, Moro Farrouk - Samatex, Eric Kulepa - Parma FC, Emmanuel Appiah and Richard Mensah - New Castle FC, Albert Tabah - Vipers, Emmanuel Koomson - Universal Academy and Francis Filson - Oguaa United.
The Administrative officer of the GFA, Mr Edward Bawa in a Press Release copied to the GNA Sports said cases would be struck out if the aforementioned players and clubs fail to appear before the Committee.
