Primeval Media Ghana Limited organizers of the Black Stars Farewell match have been mentioned by witness for Unibank Mr. Owusu Ansah Awere as the agent that court a sponsorship from the bank for the production of name tags for supporters and officials that were lifted from Ghana to Brazil.
According to Mr. Awere Unibank gave Primeval GHC 10,000 for the production of 500 name tags but stated however that he couldn't disclose the details of the contract between the bank and Primeval Media Ghana.
Giving his account on Wednesday, Project Coordinator for the World Cup secretariat, Fred Ebo Darko told the Commission that he did not know how Unibank's logo got advertized on the name tags.
"My lord when I saw the logo I asked some of my colleagues as to why the logo found its way onto the tags because it's an advert and cannot be free but no one seemed to know so on my return from Brazil I conducted my own investigations and realized it cost GHC 10,000."
Fred Darko however told the Commission that there were certain names involved in the deal that he is ready to give to the Commission in camera.
Primeval Media Ghana were responsible for the organization of the Attuquayefio Testimonial Match which was believed to have fetched GHC 27, 000 although the company came out later to state on record that the match realized GHC 36,900.
