Princeton Owusu Ansah replays critics

Princeton Owusu Ansah, the Mali 2002 Black Stars skipper has fired back at his critics who claimed he does not deserve a call up into the Black Stars.

He told the GNA Sports that the argument peddling around that he is club less at the moment and therefore does not deserve to be called to the Stars camp lacked substance.

"I'm not a Ghanaian? Once I'm a property of this land and a player, I have the right to serve my nation if I'm up to the task. If the coach sees me as someone who has the capability to don the national jersey, so be it"

The player said he is overwhelmed about those comments. On whether he feels he deserves the call up, he answered in the affirmative. Princeton explained that his inclusion could not only be based on his current form alone, but that of his past form and commitment to the nation.

According to Princeton he would soon leave to continue his professional career with Dynamo Mosco, a club based in Russia. 'I would leave hopefully after our encounter with Rwanda on Sunday October 13. I have been in town for a while because I had to renew my visa to join the team over there"

He said he was expected to play for Dynamo last season but that could not materialised because of some registration problems. However, the defender disclosed that the team was in constant touch with him and was only in town because of his visa problem.
