Prosper Kasim undergoes medical and starts training with IFK Gothenburg

Inter Allies striker Prosper Kasim is undergoing a medical at IFK Gothenburg in Sweden ahead of his imminent move to the Allsvenskan club in April this year, DailySoccerGhana.com can exclusively confirm.

The 18-year-old Black Satellites attacker held his first training session with Gothenburg last Sunday under the eagle eyes of Coach Jorgen Lennartssen.

According to Inter Allies CEO, Delali Senaya, Kasim is yet to sign a contract with the Blues and Whites though reports in the Ghanaian media claim he has penned a 5-year-deal.

“Forget what you have heard. I am the CEO of the club and I am telling you that he has not signed yet. Talks are far advanced between both clubs. Kasim will return from Sweden soon to play for Inter Allies before going back to Gotheburg permanently,” Mr. Senaya toldDailySoccerGhana.com.

Kassim was involved in the work-out session alongside Sarbah Lawson at Gothenburg, who will return to Inter Allies and stay with the Ghana Premier League side until the season ends because he is below 18 and cannot sign a professional contract in Europe.
