RAG Boss Calls For Education For Soccer Fans.

The chairman of Referees Association of Ghana Mr R.O Laryea has called for education for the soccer fans in the country to enable them understand the rules and regulations of the game which to him will help in solving the unnecessary attacks on referees and hooliganism in football matches which come as a result of lack of understanding of the rules of the game . In an interview, Mr R.O Laryea commended the performance of the referees in the G T premier league.

He said, Ghana?s football will continue to suffer if the situation where most soccer fans in the country knowing nothing about the rules governing the game but continue to criticize referees which goes to the extent of pelting some with stones and water sachet should remain unaddressed .The RAG boss suggested that, for Ghana to have incident free football season , the FA through RAG should embark on supporters education as this will make referees feel secured when officiating matches and give up their best.
