The stanch football administrator in the region, who is the CEO of Division Two side, Garu United in an interview with Gbc Ura Radio Sports in Bolgatanga, expressed much confidence in the Zebila based side to qualify to the elite division of Ghana football. “From what I saw of the team during the regional Division Two Middle League where they went unbeaten in seven matches, I’m convinced they have what it takes to compete in the Division One League,” Ibrahim Fuseini said.
He continued: “And I’m very confident that management of the team would put in place suitable measures that will help the team in their quest to make it to the Premiership at the end of the Division One campaign. The Upper East Regional FA Veep added: “However I will only appeal to the people of the region to support the team in any way they can.” Teonde United is making their debut in the Division One League after they emerged champions in the regional Division Two league last year during which the famously went unbeaten in seven matches.
