Referee Prince Amoah has hit back at Bashiru Hayford that he doesn’t accept defeat, hence end up insulting match officials on the touchline, after the Coach criticized officiating in his team’s FA Cup defeat.

The head coach for Ashgold indicated that poor officiating played a major role in his side’s 0-2 loss to the Porcupine Warriors in the quarter finals of the MTN FA at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

However, referee Prince Amoah, who was in the middle of the game in a reaction to Bashiru Hayford’s accusation indicated that the coach is a trouble maker on the touch line and that he should be restrained by the football authority.

“Bashiru Hayford is noted for complaining any time his team loses a game, so I am not surprised of his comments,” he told Metro fm.

“He was showing a lot of gestures on the touchline in course of the game, but I didn’t hear what he said. Although my assistants reported to me that he used a lot of abusive words on them, I don’t usually center my claims on hearsay.

“It is about time something was done to him to ensure he put up a good behavior on the field.”

The former Asante Kotoko coach has been in the news in recent times for complaining about poor officiating on the domestic scene.
