Richard Addai happy with scoring form

Bechem United's lead striker, Richard Addai is relishing his scoring form in the ongoing 2011/2012 Glo Premier League competition.

The 23-year old has netted 11 goals for his Club in their maiden season in the top flight and is counting on his impressive form to aid their battle against relegation.

Addai who trails the top scorer, Emmanuel Baffoe by nine goals, told GNA Sports that he is enjoying the form of his football life and career.

“I’m happy with my performance this season. I have worked a lot this season and my hard work has finally paid off,” Addai said.

The forward has not set his sight on the goal king award yet with five matches remaining to end the season, but is hoping to end the season on a high footing with the ultimate aim being the survival of his Club.

Bechem United are a place above the depth of the standings on 23 points and need to make the most of their remaining matches to maintain their top flight status.

With matches against Aduana Stars (away), Wa All Stars (home), Asante Kotoko (away), Dwarfs (home) and Edubiase (away) on the cards; Addai has refused to give up as far as their premiership status is concerned.

“There are tough matches ahead and we have to work above ourselves to stay in the Premier League. With the support of all, I believe we will survive.”

Addai joined Bechem United from Aduana Stars this season and has metamorphosed into the Club’s revelation this term.

Bechem United, Berekum Arsenal, Aduana Stars and Berekum Chelsea complete the Brong Ahafo Region's quartet in the top flight.**
