Ex-Ghana winger Quincy Owusu-Abeyie is reported to have failed to impress Dutch Eredivise side SC Cambuur.

Abeyie has been training at the club the last two weeks in a bid to return to competitive football.

The 29-year-old has been without a club since leaving Portuguese side Boavista last year.

Abeyie remains a journey man which has seen his career span from Arsenal, Spartak Moscow, Celta Vigo, Birmingham City, Portsmouth and Panathinaikos.
