Ghanaian international Sadick Adams has announce his return to top flight football after long spells of inaction and lack of regular play at previous clubs by sensationally taking center stage of current club Etoile du Sahel's Pre-season matches after returning to the Tunisian outfit last month. The club's teeming supporters have started showering praises on the Ghanaian who has scored three times in the Club's four preparatory matches and providing two assists in the process.
In his first game for the club after making a U-turn from Serbian SuperLiga side FK Vojvodina, Etoile drew 1-1 with French Lig 1 side OGC Nice which he played against national team-mate Abeiku Quansah who scored Nice's only goal of the match. Adams' Performance excited Etoile manager Mohamed Fakhir who featured him against Swiss based FC Neauchal Xamax where he scored and provided assist in the teams 2-1 win. In Etoile's last training match with former Tunisian Super Cup winners Olympic Beja, Adams scored 2 late goals to secure victory for his club. Etoile manager Fakhir is desperate to see the player in full flight when the Tunisian league starts on friday. Etoile travel north to meet highly rated Esperance and Sadick is very confident of making impact in the match.
The former U-20 player stated his intentions to make it big this season after wranglings with Athletico Madrid and Etoile du Sahel nearly jeopardized his career. The talented midfielder who can also play as an assisting striker is known for his thunder bolt shost and deft touches that led to him being recognized by World Soccer magazine as one of the 50 Most Exciting Teenagers on the Planet in their November 2007 issue.
The soft spoken youngster stated that his ambition is to return to national team action after he missed the 2009 FIFA U-20 tournament in Egypt which Ghana won. He congratulated the Blck Stars for their performance in the just ended world cup which he he attributed to hard work and commitment and feel it has led to Ghanaian players being cherished globally.
