Salifu returns to Club Africain

Ghanaian youngster Seidu Salifu has returned to the training grounds of Club Africain following the dismissal of French coach Landry Chauvin.

The 19-year-old midfield enforcer left the club over a month ago following a brawl between him and the Frenchman.

Salifu, who played for the Ghana Under-20 side last year went on to train with Czech Republic side Banik Ostrava. However, the club’s management led by Bab Jadid has been able to convince the Ghanaian to return, Goal Ghana understands.

The former Wa All Stars and Turan IK of Azerbaijan player joined the Tunisian side in the summer of 2013 alongside veteran Prince Tagoe as well as his Black Satellites’ mate Derek Mensah and Francis Narh, who have all left the club.

The energy-sapping midfielder is set to feature more in the plans of new coach Mondher Kbaier.
