Black Stars coach Ratomir Dujkovic has called up Kumasi Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, George Owu, to join the team in Kenya as they step up preparations for the decisive 2006 World Cup duel with South Africa.
Owu is expected to be the replacement for injured national number one, Sammy Adjei, who is feared to be unfit for the tie.
Adjei picked up a knee injury at training last Friday and battling to recover in time for Saturday?s game.
Dujkovic is worried by the probability that the Hearts of Oak goalkeeper might not be in the post for Ghana in this make or break clash.
But team doctor, Martin Engmann, told Joy Sports, it is too early to rule Adjei out of the Bafana Bafana battle.
He says the player will is receiving treatment and will undergo some tests to ascertain his fitness before the final decision is taken
