Sammy Adjei wants Kwarasey for 2015 AFCON

Former Ghana goalkeeper Sammy Adjei wants Ghana Football Association to patch up with aggrieved Adam Larsen Kwarasey ahead of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

Kwarasey has turned down opportunities to make a return to the team after a disappointing world cup campaign that saw him lose his position to Fatau Dauda after the 2-1 defeat to the U.S

The Norway-based criticized then coach Kwesi Appiah for unfairly removing him as number one and also questioned the credentials of goalkeepers’ trainer Nassam Yakubu.

Ghana used three goalkeepers throughout the qualifying campaign and will need in-form gloves in Equatorial Guinea.

Adjei says the FA must get Kwarasey back before the tournament.

“I believe that the FA should do all they can to resolve all the differences between them and Adam Kwarasey in order for him to be part of the playing body that represents the nation,” the former Hearts of Oak player said.

“He will bring needed quality and compete the experienced once in the team.”
