Samson Odai: “Rude Fred Crenstil contributed to Hikari FC’s expulsion”

Samson Odai, the owner of the Division 2 League club Hikari FC, has taken a swipe at Ghana FA Vice President Fred Crentsil, describing the former Hearts of Oak CEO as a rude administrator and blaming him for allegedly contributing to his club’s expulsion from Ghana football.

“When President (Nyantakyi) was out of the country, Fred Crentsil should have seen to the resolution of the case. He rather advised us to agree to an out of court settlement and did not handle the case well. It was as though he was against Hikari FC’s interest,” Mr. Odai told Accra-based radio station Happy FM.

“As for President (Nyantakyi), he is a good man but followers are the problem. They sometimes contribute to the problems at the GFA. Fred Crentsil should also know that he is a Vice President of the FA and must learn how to talk. He is rude,” he added.

Hikari FC was expelled after dragging the Ghana FA to court over fallouts of the Eastern Regional FA elections, which is a breach of Article 21 Clause 1 sub-Clause 4 of the GFA Statutes.
