Sannie Daara lauds Otumfuo's impact in Black Stars win

Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association, Ibrahim Sannie Daara has praised Otumfuo's impact in the Black Stars triumph over Comoros adding that the media in Kumasi also played a part in achieving that victory.

Prior to the game, there were widespread rumours that fans in Kumasi were planning to stage a boycott in the Black Stars second leg game against Comoros at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The Black Stars team on their arrival in Kumasi paid a courtesy on the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace.

The traditional ruler in his address to the team and management members tasked all the media houses in Kumasi to support the course of the senior football team and called on the supporters.

With the support that was given to the Black Stars, the Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association, Sannie Daara has praised Otumfuo's impact in the four-time African champions 2-0 win over Comoros.

"The media in Kumasi helped the Black Stars team a lot and above all is Otumfuo. The good job he did and the advice he gave to the supporters to fill the stands helped the team a lot. So I want to thank everybody for this overwhelming support in winning the game," Daara said after the game.
