Winger Frank Sarfo Gyamfi says he is back in Ghana to complete an ‘unfinished business’ with Asante Kotoko.
The 20-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the champions to seal his return to the Ghanaian top flight.
Gyamfi left Ghana almost three-years ago to join South African club Maritzburg United.
And after his initial progress in the PSL, the ex Ghana U20 star’s performance dropped due to excessive injuries.
He is thus back in Ghana to ‘re-launch’ his career but he says he is on a mission to finish some unfinished business he left behind when he first left.
“Honestly, I believe I left something behind which I must come back and pick,” Gyamfi told Goal Ghana.
“I could have joined several teams even outside Ghana but I thought it wise to return home and finish what I couldn’t before leaving for South Africa.
“Kotoko is a great club and I believe we can make a mark this season both domestically and on the international stage [Champions League].
“I hope to win my first league title here but I will not promise the goal king.
“I will try my possible best to work towards that and score as many as I can to help the team achieve success.”
Gyamfi has already caught the eye of the Kotoko fans after scoring in the Super 2 friendly clash against Hearts of Oak.
