Sarpei eyes the German FA presidency

Former Ghana international Hans Adu Sarpei wants to become the president of the German Football Association within the next 10 years.

The 37-year-old, who is also an information technology expert and is into coaching, believes his goal is achievable,

“In 10 years, a lot can happen. I just have to enjoy my life now. But in 10 years, I will be in my forty's and will finally get the chance to contest for the German FA presidency,” Sarpei told Sports1. “That would be a nice job for me to be the first black president of the FA.”

Sarpei, who was born in Ghana holds both German and Ghanaian citizenship and has played for clubs such as Wolfsburg, Schalke and Leverkusen.

He chose to represent Ghana in 2000 and featured in both the 2006 and 2010 World Cups.
