Second Division League starts on July 7

Eighteen football clubs will participate in the Central Region Second Division League which kicks off on Sunday July 7.

Mr Mathew Doe, chairman of the Central Regional Football Association (RFA) disclosed this to GNA in an interview on Tuesday.

He said registration of players for the 2001/2002 season will officially close temporarily on today, June 21, to enable the RFA to process all registration documents and get them validated by the Ghana Football Association.

Mr Doe warned that after the deadline on June 21, clubs that have paid their clubs registration fees but have not registered their players by the close of the registration, shall be deemed to have opted out of the league and shall forfeit all monies paid to the RFA.
