Sierra Leone caretaker coach Sellas Tetteh has set his sights on qualifying for the 2017 African Cup of Nations finals.
The Ghanaian trainer led the Leone Stars to draw 0-0 with defending African champions Ivory Coast.
Tetteh hope their first point in the qualification campaign can be a booster to reach the finals in Gabon.
“We did not win, but I am happy because we played well. Also when you get a point after playing against such an accomplished side, you should be proud,” Tetteh said.
“Now, we must build on this and try as much as possible to qualify for the 2017 AFCON.”
Sierra Leone have played two matches in Group I but are at the foot of the three-team table with just one point.
They last qualified for the Nations Cup finals in South Africa 1996.
