Soccer praise and urge Starlets on

Hohoe, (V/R), Sept. 3, GNA - Soccer enthusiasts at Hohoe in the Volta region have described the performance of Ghana' Black Starlets as superlative in the FIFA World Cup Under-17 tournament in Korea and urged them to go ahead to win the Cup.

The said since they have placed themselves in pole position They need to soar higher by brushing aside all opposition by remaining focussed to clear their last hurdle in order to play in the grand finale to win the coveted trophy for the third time.

Sampling views of soccer fans along the main principal streets of Hohoe by the GNA Sports on Sunday, many of the supporters indicated that they were content with the performance of the team after eliminating the 'terrifying' Brazilians and two other South American teams, Columbia and Peru, who are major obstacles that have been cleared towards annexing the diadem.

They, however, urged the team and the technical handlers to maintain the spirit and be focussed and not be complacent, since football was clouded with illogical uncertainties.

Mr Evans Agbana, Chief Executive Officer of Global Ultimate shop and a soccer fan, said with the elimination of Brazil, the boys could return home with pride since that feat could be interpreted as winning the tournament but added that "the boys need to reload their guns and ready to destroy any opposition".

Mr Silas Dikro asked the Starlets coach, Sellas Tetteh to improve on the shooting ability of the boys to make them more potent in front of goal, adding that it was awful the way some of clear chances were missed in previous matches.
