Sports Minister Nii Lantey Vanderpuye has expressed displeasure at the Ghana Football Association failure to inform him about an international friendly between the Local Black Stars and Japan U23.
The match was played in Saga two weeks ago and Maxwell Konadu's side were beaten 3-0.
Nii Lantey argues that his outfit must be briefed on the importance and financial benefits of international friendlies involving all national teams.
“I will say it clearly that I want the right thing to be done, I will not allow anyone to disrespect my position,” he told Kumasi based Nhyira FM
“If somebody offends the law, the law will deal with the person –so if the GFA decides that they will not inform us anytime they are going to have a friendly international for the Black Stars or any of the national teams –I really don’t believe they will do that.
“If it was hindsight I have reminded them (GFA) my letter has gone to them and I have indicated to them my displeasure about the action they took and I don’t think they would want to do that by having problems with me because I would want to have problems with them."
