Squad For Cranes Match Named

The head coach of the senior national team the Black Stars, Ratomir Dujkovic has released an official list of 20 -man squad ( 8 locals and 12 foreign-based professionals ) to begin camping at Obuasi ahead of their crucial world cup qualifier against the Cranes of Uganda at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday September 4.

Dujkovic names the local players as; Sammy Adjei, George Owu, Issah Ahmed, Yussif Chibsah, Aziz Ansah, Illiasu Alhassan, Abubakar Yahuza and Hamza Mohammed.

The foreign-based professionals are made up of ; skipper Stephen Appiah, Michael Essien, John Paintsil, Laryea Kingston, John Mensah, Godwin Attram, Matthew Amoah, Isaac Boakye, Hamini Dramani, Daniel Edusei, Emmanuel Addoquaye - Pappoe and Joetex Frimpong.

The local players are expected in Obuasi latest by Monday afternoon and the foreign players are expected to file in latest by Tuesday evening. Reports from the Black Stars camp reveals that Nigeria-based Enyimba striker Joetex Frimpong is already in town.
