Starlets to play Burkina Faso on Friday

The national under-17 soccer team, the Black Starlets would on Friday, take on their counterparts from Burkina Faso in an international friendly match in Bobodialasso, Burkina Faso.

A 25-man contingent made up 18 players and seven officials left their camping base at Obuasi on Wednesday for Burkina Faso. A fax message copied to the GNA Sports on Thursday said the match forms part of the Starlets' preparation for the African Under-17 Cup in Swaziland next year. The players were selected from a pool of 45 after a justify-your-inclusion exercise two months ago.
