Black Stars coach, Ratomir Dujkovic will hold his first training session with eight locally based players at the Obuasi Len Clay stadium this morning as the team?s preparations swings into gear.

The local component of the Black Stars squad moved into camp at Obuasi yesterday, with Enyimba?s Joe Tex Frimpong the only foreign-based player to join the team so far.

Skipper Stephen Appiah has arrived in Ghana and is expected to joint the rest of the team in camp this morning.

Also expected to have arrived last night was Chelsea midfielder, Michael Essien, Dan Edusei and striker Mathew Amoah.

Armenia Belfield marksman, Isaac Boakye is arrives tonight with six other foreign-based stars.

Ghana hosts the Cranes of Uganda at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday, and are expected to round up their preparations in Obuasi by Friday, before moving to Kumasi.

They are expected to play a warm up game against Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Thursday.

Meanwhile the Cranes of Uganda, have been promised a huge winning bonus if they are able to beat Ghana in this weekend?s qualifier.

Though the team?s preparations have been hampered by a lack of training time and rift between the coach and the federation, the Ugandans are confident of causing an upset at the Baba Yara stadium.

The Ugandan federation has paid the team an outstanding ten million shilling bonus for their victory over Cape Verde in the last round of qualifiers. The Cranes contingent arrives in Accra on Wednesday.

Ghana?s Black Stars currently occupy pole position in the African qualifying Group two but only by virtue of a superior goal difference.

Without a doubt, the outcome of this tie with Uganda?s Cranes on Sunday would prove very decisive in the battle for the sole qualification slot from the group.
