Everton are still waiting for a club to come in and take Alex Nyarko off their wage bill but as yet there have been no official approaches.
The controversial African midfielder has said he will never play for The Blues again after being confronted by a fan at Highbury towards the end of last season.
The club will not be sorry to see the misfit go after he made more headlines off the pitch in last year's campaign than on it, but he will not be sold off cheaply.
He arrived in Merseyside from Lens heralded as a better player than Olivier Dacourt and The Blues splashed out ?4.5million on his services. However since announcing his availability there has not been a rush of clubs interested in the Ghanian international, not even from France.
Walter Smith said: "There is no news on that front. We have had no enquiries about him as yet."
