Stoke City join race to sign Boakye-Yiadom

English Premiership side Stoke City have joined the race to sign Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom on a permanent deal from Serie A champions Juventus.

According to 90 Minutes, new Stoke manager Mark Hughes has identified the talented youngster as an alternative for the misfiring Kenwyne Jones who has been out of form.

Hughes is believed to have already made the official approach and this might be a dream come true for the highly rated Ghanaian youngster whose desire is to play in the English Premiership.

Boakye-Yiadom is likely to cost the Brittanica Stadium outfit not less than 8 million pounds and clubs such as Elcheo, Sampdoria, Leverkusen are after his signature whilst Sassuolo are also interested in maintaining him for one more season.

Juventus are in the process of signing experienced Spanish striker Fernando Llorente from Atletico Bilbao which means Boakye-Yiadom’s playing time will be limited if they agree to keep him.
