Stop George Arthur Or I'll Go To Court -Fella

An ardent soccer fan in Sunyani, Mr. Kwadwo Fella has threatened to go to court if the GFA and its affiliate bodies do not come out to restrain George Arthur from holding himself as Chairman of Premier Club, B/A United.

Mr. Fella who was speaking in an interview questioned the impartiality of the leadership of the FA over the rumpus in B/A United and advised that the earlier the football governing body acted on the matter, the better it would be for the smooth running of Ghana Soccer. He indicated that the unusual lukewarm attitude being exhibited by the Ben Kuofie~led FA has the potential to destabilise the football calendar as he would not hesitate to go to court to pray for an injunction on the 2003 premier league, if the FA’s attitude should be continued. How come the FA acted swiftly on the Hearts~Kotoko struggle over Charles Taylor but have kept quite over that of United.

Giving reasons for his threats, Mr. Fella, also an ardent supporter of B/A United F/C, fumed that it is clear George Arthur remains suspended by the FIFA for an undetermined period of time, and since the FA Regulations are explicit on the implications of such a ban on Arthur, anyone who entertains him as Chairman of a football Club does so bearing in mind the consequences. Article 34, of the FA Regulations frowns on a suspended footballer playing any role in the running of our beautiful game.
