Ghana assistant Coach Silas Tetteh has claimed that Udinese’s Sulley Ali Muntari would be a great success in the Premiership, with Portsmouth still thought to be trying to land the midfielder.
“Muntari is still very young and has a powerful left foot, and he can keep improving to become a very good player,” said Tetteh.
“I know that Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp was interested in him, but even if he doesn’t go there I’m sure that there will be other clubs that want to take him to England.”
So far Pompey’s bids have failed to match the £10m asking price, while Muntari has rejected a move to Manchester United in the past.
