Tagoe apologizes for misconduct

Accra, Sept 20, GNA - Accra Hearts of Oak's midfielder, Joseph Tagoe has apologized to the Board and Management of the Premier League champions for his recent acts of gross indiscipline exhibited towards them.

The Management of Hearts about a fortnight ago suspended the player, who was reported to have sojourned to Nigeria to feature for Heartland FC, handled by the Club's former Bulgarian trainer, Mitko Kostadinov Dobrev.

The petit midfielder in his letter of apology copied to the GNA Sports expressed remorse and promised never to repeat such an act. "I am therefore appealing to the Management to forgive me and I promise it will never happen again hoping my apology will be taken into consideration".

Tagoe, who is in his third year with the Phobians experienced his worst season during the 2006/2007 Onetouch Premier league where he only made a handful of appearances. The Management of the league champions is yet to give their official consent to the player's latest action.
