Technical staff pledge allegiance to Grant

Members of the technical team have pledge allegiance to work hand in hand with the new coach Aram Grant in order to achieve the desired goals of the nation.

Most of the members of the technical team who spoke to sportscrusader.com affirmed their unflinching loyalty to the new coach and also called for the same from the fans.

“One thing we shouldn’t forget is that when he succeeds and manages to lead us to win trophies, the entire nation has succeeded.”

“This is the time we have to come together as one people to support the new coach and the players so that we can do something meaningful for the nation, not only at the 2015 AFCON, but in subsequent tournaments under his leadership”, assistant coach Maxwell Konadu mentioned to sportscrusader.com prior to his departure to Equatorial Guinea for the 2015 AFCON Draw.

Team Manager Nii Sabahn Quaye was also of the view that “it was about time we as Ghanaians wrote a new history for ourselves in terms of winning laurels for the senior national team.”

“Like any member of the technical team, we are going to help the new coach to succeed so that we can win something great for our nation.”

“Avram Grant is our new coach and we will support him, and that’s final”, Sabahn added.

The Ghana Football Association will officially unveil Avram Grant as the newly appointed head coach of the Black Stars tomorrow December 4.
