African football legend George Weah heaps praise on AC Milan’s Kevin-Prince Boateng
Former Liberia international George Weah has been impressed with the performances of AC Milan’s Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng since his arrival in Italy.
The former Milan striker believes the 2010 World Cup star has justified his move to the Italian Serie A side.
“I am happy for him. And as an Analyst during the World Cup I said that Prince Boateng is one of the best Ghanaian players,” the 1995 World Best Player told Accra-based Citi FM.
“And his attributes are what got him into AC Milan. I watched his first and second games and I think he is a very hard-working player and is very good for AC Milan. And the work that he puts in for AC Milan is great. I hope he continues to shine the flag of Africa.”
Boateng is currently co-owned by Genoa and returned from injury to score against Napoli on Monday.
The Rossoneri are likely to grant the 23-year-old a permanent contract in the summer.
