Former Arsenal and Barcelona striker, Thierry Henry has applauded Samuel Inkoom’s decision to join Major League Soccer giants, DC United, after the pair met last week.
37-year-old Thierry Henry, who scored an absolute screamer for New York Red Bulls in their 2-1 win over Kansas City in their Major League Soccer fixture, told the former FC Dnipro ace: “You will not regret playing in the MLS. You made the right choice and I am happy for you to play in the MLS.”
It will be recalled that, On Friday, D.C. United announced that they had signed the Ghanaian international defender, who was on the Ghana's eighteen man roster for the 2014 World Cup.
Inkoom comes to D.C. United from F.C. Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, which is a team based in the central-eastern part of Ukraine.
